i'm building music player using raspberry pi 2, iqaudio pi-dac+ , lcd hd44780 show music information. used tutorials work, , it's great: stunning sound dac, volume control using rotary encoder, , music info being shown correctly.
edit lcdd.conf , mpdlcd.conf files select options, there's 1 thing i'm not getting: can choose refresh mode of lcd? in case, refresh made caracther caracther, starting top left corner , ending in tha bottom right. so, when change music, lcd takes long refresh screen. there mode refresh info @ same time, if takes bit long process? tried find code in previous 2 files, haven't find control this. in driver itself? used paul websters lcdproc "hd44780.so" file use rpi2 correctly.
