Thread: vmware player: x fails to start after installation of vmware-tools


if install xubuntu 9.10 in clean virtual machine on vmware player, fine until install vmware tools.
refuses log x. gdm starts , presents screen.

2nd: can't file bug on lanchpad, beacause xubuntu has no applet in menu. ?
