Whats the ethical approach - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi
i'm looking little advice from  more aware people, regard intellectual copyright , and open source licence.
i use third party module called sw_freelinks, mind excellent module. allows placement of advertisement in module position, serves enabling 24 different adverts per module, best utilised links affiliate buttons etc.
my question module not seem on general release , authors www.soceityware.com not seem contactable, anymore, or @ least cant find then, if know shout aloud please. think joomla community should have module @ there disposal, find extremely useful, how offer on general release without offending one. this not work. have submitted extensions (3 days ago) have not replied, take polite no cant put here ?
any advice
here file should want have
