Pi zero order limit - Raspberry Pi Forums

why pi-retailers put limit 1 pi per customer limit? why don't rs , element14 make them, if did, there lesser limit.

rs , farnell don't make them because don't profit margin on selling them. result, rpt has them made, , not being billion pound business, having have them made on narrow margins, , competing other pi models on same production line, production limited.

on other side of this, demand has remained high enough that, if order limit relaxed, we'd were after launch. you'd able order them when batch came in , put sale. if slow getting order in, you'd miss out. people *really* didn't that. @ least way is, there sufficient supply can order 1 pretty whenever want, can order 1 @ time given supplier.

in short, pi 0 bit of victim of own popularity. aren't glad rpf able rs , farnell on board original pi model b? otherwise, we'd have same problem practically *all* models of pi.
