is possible splitscreen mario kart 64 if turn raspberry pi 3 retro pie?? i've been thinking buying one. 
retropi emulates gaming systems, , afaik it emulates aspects of such systems, split screen used in games in nintendo 64 done software running on nintendo 64, (which emulated) , don't see why need hardware (which theoretically might not emulated) seems clear me split screen (or other major game function) should work fine on emulated n64.
understanding of how things work in retropi though, -very- surprised if split screen not work.
best way check try.
or alternatively try find youtube movie of playing game on retropi, there seem plenty of those.
