hello,
using 2 usb cameras rpi b+ (cctv usb can found on ebay or amazon) both cameras identical right serial number device name. when boot/reboot rpi unable recognize 2 different cameras , detect 1 camera. if unplug , plug again unrecognised both cameras detected.
following output lsusb:
bus 001 device 002: id 0424:9514 standard microsystems corp.
bus 001 device 001: id 1d6b:0002 linux foundation 2.0 root hub
bus 001 device 003: id 0424:ec00 standard microsystems corp.
bus 001 device 008: id 1b1a:0000
bus 001 device 004: id 1c4f:0002 sigma micro keyboard tracer gamma ivory
bus 001 device 005: id 1a40:0101 terminus technology inc. 4-port hub
bus 001 device 006: id 148f:5370 ralink technology, corp. rt5370 wireless adapter
bus 001 device 010: id 1908:3231 gembird
bus 001 device 009: id 1908:3231 gembird
device 009 , device 010 2 cams. /dev/v4l/by-id has 1 id both cameras
have solutions
1. if can change device name of camera in rpi can in windows device manager.
2. if can have 2 device id created there if cameras removed (camera removed)
3. if can enable usb ports 1 one.
have tried these 3 things using udev rules, hub-ctrl, bind-unbind of device wasnt successful in of that.
can achieve 1 solution of above 3? or there other solution problem?
