i have 2 test policy servers running, both under jboss 1 on windows 2003 box , other on windows 2000 box.
from 2003 box can connect to, find users on, , authenticate openldap server.
from windows 2000 box can connect to, find users on, cannot authenticate same openldap server.
the login-config.xml settings same. difference in gui settings 2003 box can connect ldap server using server ip address whereas 2000 box can connect using domain name (which seems odd).
another issue can bind ldap server anonymously. test server connection gui fails bind username/password. same username/password works softerra ldap administrator.
does have insight what's going on here?
