having real hassle getting 9.10 on server. never occurred me check raid drivers compatibility. moron moment, guess. anyway, has had success in getting 9.10 on 1 of these servers? specifically, it's x3650 m2 7947-ac1.

don't work. i've never tried compiling drivers drive adapter, how challenging it? ibm has source.

if remember correctly isn't fakeraid on server (wanna-be hw raid)?

...that's kicker isn't it, tried in past (couple years ago) , ran similar issue not being able ubuntu server ed install. had use centos, hmmm, somehow either binary blob kernel mod or backported driver installed in kernel, no issues recognized everything. not mention, don't expect support ibm. if ain't running mswinserver, rhel, or sles they're right out. kicker #2: think ibm server certified w/ ubuntu (8.10 or 9.04) 1u rack mount dealie has pc mobo in add'l ps.
