so away went create using id cs3 mother of menus community sports (tennis, pool tiki bar weight room etc) area. had copy of old 8 1/2 menu tri fold menu.
i studied, asked stupid questions on forum (like still doing), , watched ton , tons of of id videos. total immersion (getting a5 3:30 work on stuff, , going bed late). really fun , have learned quite bit in no small part helping me.

so off office depot go. mean heck, have credit card doesn't cost me money purchase laser right? things (go off , buy , expensive version....my friends term "he doing wagnerian" (my last name wagner).

that depends entirely on 2 printers, sort of things want print (photos vs. charts) , more on paper stock use print. crappy paper gives crappy prints. in general, though, laser printers have lower cost of operation, , less trouble-prone if sit days @ time without being used.

samsung has interesting new color laser around $400, think, @ best it's legal size. (and not-so-good) tabloid size printers expensive. professional inkjets i'd @ epsons, lasers i'd choose xerox (but not 1 of solid ink models). there enough horror stories here on forums hp (and wasn't overly impressed ones in classrooms) make me avoid them working indesign.

you tile print, means print, in case, 4 sheets each side overlap, cut , paste single unit. don't expect absolute perfection in alignment.
the tile option in bottom left of options section of setup panel in print dialog. indesign can automatic tiling print sheets @ once, or can set custom tile setting ruler 0 point @ upper left corner of want tile, have each custom tile 1 @ time. can adjust overlap, , id add alignment marks , labels make bit easier figure out goes where. avoid temptation eliminate overlap altogether , used idea there thick spots -- proof after all.
