hi folks,
we're using indd cs3 on windows xp professional.
i have project customer in has given grayscale tif images. started project in quark. we're converting indd cs3 him.
when images imported quark, when color applied black/gray elements of page re-colorized (and white part stays white).
when images imported indd, when color applied white , gray elements of page re-colorized (and black part stays black).
these images page backgrounds black designs along edges , white (or light gray) designs in center. i've tried inverting image , pulling indd, have black center then, worse colored center.
is there way accomplish in indd quark doing customer? if not, ideas workaround?
thx,
sandy

sounds frames filled color. select object
selection tool (black arrow) , make sure frame set no fill.
then select image direct select tool (white arrow) ,
the same.
deselect , grab color want swatch
panel , drag onto graphic.
