How do I create if statements - Beginner to LiveCycle 8

hi,

i'm brand new (and not programmer, go easy me on code!).

i have couple of radio buttons in exclucsion group called doctorselect - 1 button 'yes' , 1 'no'. if either nothing or 'no' selected want list box called doctorlist hidden, , if 'yes' selected, want doctorlist appear , editable.

how similar thing check boxes?
