How to connect a sliding potentiometer

i bought sliding potentiometer mouser learn from:

but unsure how connect wires pins on breadboard?

(i think need using 1 set of pins).

thanks help.

pots have 3 pins. middle 1 signal.
i try pin 1 v, pin 3 ground , pin 2 a0.
