new camera not working - Raspberry Pi Forums

i bought rpi ver 1.3 camera ebay. tried connecting rpi 3 wont work. enabled camera in raspi config menu. rebooted several times . updated twice.. tried bare raspbian image , octopi image. doesnt work . red light on camera comes on means connection right since have 1 rpi there no way check on rpi .is there way chock if camera fautly or if making mistake?
