ssh/scp transfer speed painfully slow - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi all,

re imaged pi jessie , see ssh download speeds (from internal network) around 100kb/s. can @ least 10x speed if download same file hosted via http. know how can begin troubleshooting this?

i use winscp on pc move/copy/edit files on various raspberrypis , it's been slow, copying pc pc slow using winscp.

using scp commandline copy stuff across lan @ 3mb/s, that's sdcard on pi sdcard on pi.
limiting factor may write speed of sdcard, i've not tried make better. working working , waiting time make cuppa time.
