How to change number of entries on blog content section page ? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have menu item, of type "blog - content section". default shows 5 entries intro, , further 4 short links @ bottom of page, before going onto next page.

is there anywhere can change these defaults ? can't find in global config 

backend -> menu -> menu blog category in (like mainmenu) -> menu item -> right hand side parameters -> leading, intro, # columns -> change suit.
