Multiple SPI devices w/ LED strands that don't have slave select?

it seems spi led strands don't have slave select (examples: ws2801, p9813).

is possible use multiple spi peripherals these products on controller supports multiple spi peripherals such due?

you can use logic gate, simple , gate such as 74hc08, fake chip select.
connect sck 1 input, and a high cs signal other string want access. output follows sck when cs high, , low otherwise.
