i'm getting started 1.5 development , i've got question wanted ask before drive myself nuts..
in administration panel i've noticed ability create modules (e.g. welcome joomla/mod_custom). question is: possible add module administration component such com_content?
my goal have ability add custom fields using component, fill them on right menu in com_content on per-item basis similar metadata menu.
my instincts telling me i'd have customize com_content achieve this. pointers?

that correct com_content doesn't define inline module position use this.
