where thunderbird save messages inbox , sent folders?
nice able backup messages in case of having reinstall ubuntu or fresh upgrade 1 version another.

thunderbird profiles (including messages) in ~/.thunderbird. (~ home directory) you'll need have "show hidden files" on in order find it.
