Changing Front Page Title - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

alright i've hit little snag changing frontpage title, need seo purposes. found old thread core hacks none of seemed work 1.0.12. i've tried changing "title" paremeter under home menu item doesn't change page title. searched lot try , find solution couldn't seem find anything?
