Thread: Suggestion for 4GB ram

today i'm gonna receive new desktop computer.

i'm still deciding ubuntu version install i'm here ask , suggestion.

i'll have 4gb of ram , processor: intel® core™ i7-860 processor.

i'm not sure if best install ubuntu 64bit or 32bit , use right pae kernel.

in both cases i'd install real time kernel because need use jack , lot of audio application. so, best option?

with 4 gib of ram , performance requirements, i'd go 64-bit (called "amd64"). in case might make sense @ derived 64 studio distribution.
