Need help programming

i'm newbie programming pretty old else.

not sure can in reasonable time period given learning curve of c++ though plan play coding aspect of arduino on time.

but have immediate need willing write code me project.

code:  need open , close gate! 

i found code here double gate have single gate. found restore able mighty mule gate operator @ scrap yard $5.  control board broken slight effort have actuator running. i'd able use without having spend months learning write code first.  can play learning in spare time future projects.

i know can make totally relay operated control this...like old days, (i 69 , used install gates along security company many moons ago.) think arduino make simpler , add features hard achieve pure relay , hard wiring. able use smaller wire sensing opposed relay system.

details:

• swing gate
• limit switch @ each position, full open , full close
• limit switch on gate collision detection.
• four channel radio control ( may use turn on flood lights etc or button step security on open )
• press open, b close, button while in motion emergency stop.

(later may add current sensor may cause problems gate has wheel on ground , small obstruction cause gate stop rather power on rock, twig, stray lizard or small child.lol [no kids anywhere in sight actually] )

you can make attempt , can right, have of work , going involve learning @ least basics of writing code.
