Help with 404 Error page - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i think question has come lots of time here... still couldnt find me.

but question.
is there possible make 404 error page joomla or ?
if ... how ?

im using joomla 1.0.8
php 4.3.10
and im running on apache.

aboslutely....  here's have done.

in joomla, create static page 404 page.  note url

in .htaccess file add:

code: select all

errordocument 404 http://www.mydomain.com/link_to_the_static_page


another way of doing in apache config files... may not have control of those, find way
