guys,

have compaq presario c40 laptop alps touchpad. cant touchpad work???

- works pclinux
- didnt work in kubuntu - tried many things...

- switched ubuntu karmic 9.10
- tried many things such as;

-- creating fdi files ( frm site http://www.bhagwad.com/blog/2009/tec...jackalope.html )
-- editing grub add kernel options i8042.nomux
-- editing /etc/modules load psmouse i8042.nomux=1

pls pls pls pls help.

same here... tried many things since jaunty...
can share me notebook did use? use indonesia's zyrex bee...
touchpad detected alps in windows.

did ubuntu abandon us?
