Thread: "Link to" prefix on firefox desktop shortcuts

in ubuntu/gnome, firefox pre-pends "link to" @ beginning of desktop shortcuts. there way make not that?

truth tell, don't know if it's firefox in generic sense, ubuntu version of firefox, or nautilus, or gnome, , i'm having hard time chasing down.

right click on launcher , @ properties see if can change name of launcher "firefox"
