IDCS2 Windows - how to repopulate an InDesign table column from an external Excel worksheet column

hi all,
is there way repopulate column in existing idcs2 table information column in excel? i'm able select text in indesign table column , paste column of cells in excel, can't seem reverse process , select, say, column of 20 cells in excel , paste info existing column of 20 cells in indesign table.

i'm finishing price book 250 tables in it, , took me 10 hours place , tweak formatting on (they kept not of formatting had set in excel). need generate separate identical price book our distributors, price column information discounted 25%. don't want place , reformat tables again excel discounted pricing in them - i'm hoping there's easy way calcs in excel, select resulting prices in distributor price column in excel worksheet, , repopulate price column in indesign table. seems should simple since works going indesign excel!

better yet, don't suppose there way apply formula (full price x .75) existing price column right within indesign?

any appreciated! couldn't find answer in forums.
