SSH or PuTTY to Raspberry Pi from outside the local network - Raspberry Pi Forums

hello all, extremely new raspberry pi wanted setup remote access my
pi anywhere in world on internet. have connected used ssh
connect pi on own wireless network, running issue doing
device outside of home wireless network. have enabled tcp/udp port forwarding
on router (a comcast router) reason keep getting timeout errors when trying
use putty on computer on different network.

note: have looked through youtube, google, , stackoverflow solutions keep getting
directed local wlan ssh/putty access steps. feel i'm missing obvious, but
cannot right source supply missing link.
