Larger LCDs?

i wondering if give me advice or send link larger lcds can connect breadboard. using standard 16 2 lcd found lack of characters made limiting write. there ones can display more characters?

the character mode lcds come in several different sizes.  largest ones controlled single hd44780 controller , hence driven liquidcrystal library 20x4 or 40x2 (80 characters). 

there 40x4 displays available use 2 controllers.  can driven same library little work.
