i using livecycle designer 8. want rotate text in top row of table text displayed vertically. have created simple 3 column, 2 row table. select 1 of cells in top row (i click in cell , cell borders highlighted). when go "layout" tab "rotate 90", "rotate 180" , "rotate 270" buttons "active" (meaning not greyed out , when click on them, move expect button move). problem cell not rotate when click on of 3 buttons. it's if designer ignores click.
since relatively new designer, first question is: going correctly? if not, how rotate text vertically in table? if doing correctly, can fix problem?

tim, you're not doing wrong. bug in designer 8 has since been fixed. <br /><br />to around problem, try manually adding rotate="90" particular cell in xmlsource.<br /><br />so have like:<br /><draw w="30mm" h="22.2238mm" name="cell1" rotate="90"><br /><br />steve<br />adobe systems
