hi, new arduino mega user building 64 key marimba.
in order many keys, adding multiplexers.
my goal able play (4) of 64 notes "at once" (because play 4 mallets etc)
does see issue using: (
dual-circuit 4x1 multiplexers (cd405xb)
• each multiplexer support 2 notes @ time (1 per circuit). 16 digital control pins needed this. , can assign each piezo notes on each bank of (4) not played @ same time.
essentially allow me play @ least (4) notes time unless (2) of notes happened within same bank of 4. is best way go here?
thanks,
justin

what have not explained, want these multiplexers do - input, or output?
almost should using else such shift registers.
