been playing around awesome quite time (it sure lives name), can't seem find awful-layout vertical tiling of windows. know if awful has layout defined , suck @ searching, or if there's on internet has written this? skills @ lua basics, writing myself not option right :/
i recognise quite delayed response, if you're still using awesome, have @ vain module. it's got bunch of nice layouts, including splitting screen vertical columns:
