hi first post , like ubuntu os since installed on old pc.

web programming , wanted have dev environement @ office. need have email working code php script , try since yesturday , there there 1 probleme.

every setup fine, have thunderbird installed , can send mail without error, cannot (received email send locally)

environement is:

3pcs - 2 running xp , 1 running ubuntu desktop 9.10

have xampp working fine virtual folder
have setup bind9 dns server
have have email working.

have necessary have email working
1- install postfix
2- install dovcot
3- install sasl auth daemon
4- squirrelmail
5- thunderbird

can connect http://mail.mydomain.god/ (that's open squirrelmail) can login both user have create. message sending both user when go inbox of both user nothing appear

did manage fix this? i'm afraid there isn't enough info here debug problem, need massively complex email setup test web services? install ssmtp , set use main mta (you use isp's). easy set up.
