Query in Extended Data Base

hello everybody,

i want create data base in arduino data logging of informations inputed ps/2 keyboard.

each record include several data (a "serial number" of record, "name", "time" in hours , minutes, , other 3 text variables).

i need know how/if possible query data base, in order find "name": if new entry has same name of entered one, new record not stored in data base.

any existing application? help.
