my end goal is have pi3 has:
- 3 app - raspbian + kodi + retropie + rasplex (optional)
- working spi 3.5" lcd touch screen
- can show on tv when connected hdmi
online research, streamline down following 2 options cons (which not sure if there workaround today):
option 1: 4 partition different app
- quad-boot http://www.multibootpi.com/builds/quad- ... mment-1314
- gparted 64gb microsd fat32
- noob installation
- drawback of design:
+ must launch kodi & kodi not support spi lcd & touch screen (must use hdmi display)
option 2: raspbian base os, others apps
- install raspbian jessie can support touch screen
- install other apps on raspbian.
+ found kodi instruction on raspbian viewtopic.php?t=99866
- uncertainties:
+ can rasplex & retropie install app on raspbian?
+ can touch screen work in setting kodi, plex & retropie?
+ in case, how should manage partition size, fat32 32gb os & rest in fat32ext? can raspbian access , write on ft32ext?
+ can video output switch spi hdmi automatically? resolution auto-adjust? (viewtopic.php?f=108&t=150889)
hope can teach me.
thanks
regards
matt

while continue checking, found bootberry so,
option 3: bootberry
uncertain:
- seems no touchscreen support
- lack of mentions on partition, apps/os install in single partition or different partition?
