usually when use chips on breadboard supply 5v regulated voltage intensity of current ranging 800ma 1a . for each chip put capacitor between vcc , gnd pins , that's , , works fine never had broken chip or .
but have expensive chip , wrong happening might cost me alot , , in datasheet says maximum intensity current can supplied 320ma .
so , can continue working same way handle chips ? or ?

what kind of chip ?
the rated current of 320ma maximum consumption of chip. in other words current power supply must able handle. in case 800ma power supply adequate.
i suggest post link chip datasheet in order more help.
