Iduino Yun Shield

hi all,

i super stumped right now. have iduino yun - can on web interface fine, set board (genuine arduino mega 2560) , created board config ide , seems all. can upload sketch on example sketches, trying see console output (via serial monitor) , keeps saying unable connect - retrying again etc , asks if have set bridge ok?

if tried upload sketch when have set board different throws error saying wrong board think bridge working , talking don't understand happening here @ moment.

has else had issue or have suggestions please?

i not familiar clone shield, actual arduino yun, , there differences.

if loading code onto mega, using usb connection. trying connect console: please aware console designed used on network, not usb connection. need have 1 of yun's network addresses (either wifi or ethernet) selected in ide's port menu if want serialmonitor connect console class. actual use serial in sketch if want talk on usb, , console if want talk on network - shield may different.

the messages describe sound messages if trying access console class on usb, or if sketch using serial instead of console, , trying open serialmonitor on network.

to summarize:

• to talk on usb: use serial in sketch, , select usb port in port menu.
• to talk on network: use console in sketch, , select network address in port menu.
• any other combination won't work.
