we had dwa-130 usb network connector working under jaunty (9.04), when upgraded karmic (9.10 - network manager), connection broken. (uname -mr: 2.6.31-14-generic i686)
added ndiswrapper startup programs drivers there. however, appears system not automatically start driver on cold reboot. 'lshw' indicates wlan1 interface 'disabled'.
if open wireless connection under network manager , edit/save data (but without making real change), when shutdown , start again, drivers loaded , activated , system connects router.
have not tried directing ndiswrapper port in startup because includes warning.
