a fresh install of xubuntu karmic today somehow made cdrom invisible file manager. backup data on cds , going transfer pics , docs , such fresh installation.
prefer pcmanfm file manager if familiar it... thunar doesn't "see" cdrom drive either.
worked week ago when first installed xubuntu (9.10). today's fresh install doesn't. did update bork something? i'd have files on hard drive.
