i'm having hdmi issues running upstream kernel (4.9rc4) pi top. pi comes on , in uboot, screen not readable: https://www.flickr.com/photos/masneyb/30942037416/. can see when boot messages kernel start scrolling across screen. plugging pi external monitor (with pi running on pi top battery) shows pi boot: https://www.flickr.com/photos/masneyb/30889072441/.
booting pi stock 4.4 raspbian kernel shows pi top screen working: https://www.flickr.com/photos/masneyb/30942036866/.
have suggestions boot options try upstream kernel? i've separately tried hdmi_safe=1, hdmi_force_hotplug=1, different hdmi_modes , changing config_hdmi_boost no success.
thanks,
brian
