Thread: Totem is broken after fresh 9.10 install

totem plays dvds while , stops working, gets jumpy, becomes incomprehensible, etc. don't know how debug , i'm kind of exhausted after other problem-fixing i've done on version. i'm considering downgrading older distro, have invested lot of time in install.

ubuntu not support legacy hardware anymore? system on older side. here's lshw dvd player:
