you need ensure files downloading compiled run on raspberry pi. if file mentions x86/x64/intel/amd etc won't work on pi.

best use built in 'apt-get' installer or 'software centre*' available in raspbian find software. believe firefox, transmission (torrent client) , vlc (media player) available.

*might called different in raspbian menu.
