Jar file containing FormInstanceBase

i trying initiate process instance programatically using approach described in section 5 of "developing custom applications livecycle workflow". able obtain taskmanager object, when try use methods error:

com.adobe.workflow.forminstancebase.class cannot found.

according javadocs, there should such class, find no such animal in adobe-wkf-client.jar. missing jar file? one?
