[RESOLVED] Extension Installation Fatal Error - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i searched q&t forum on extension installation error , found no discussions on subject (i may have missed it, not sure).
i have tried install various extensions such community builder, virtuemart, multisites alt etc. every time installed, returned blank page or below:

fatal error: allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried allocate 98304 bytes) in c:\wamp\www\administrator\components\com_adsmanager\install.adsmanager.php on line 139

(the above adsmanager)

the problems seem consistent. suspect there bug(s) in component installer code of joomla

i have increased memory size in php.ini (upload_max_filesize) 60m. problem remianed.

btw. have enabled plugin legacy system.

can provide pointer?

should change 'memory_limit' not file.
