editing fba2x.cfg - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi,

i'm having issues joystick controls when using pifba arcade emulator. (new retropie install)

i'm using diy arcade joystick made 0 delay encoder, works fine on other emulators, game want seems work on pifba, joystick works left & right, not & down!??!!)

i've read bit & seems thing try changing controller config in fba2x.cfg file.

i'm wondering how go editing file.
i've found file on usb stick i've used copy across roms, i've edited file on pc & plugged usb stick pi & let sync. & rebooted

doesn't anything, wondering if file located somewhere else & needs edited (not usb file)

have been using pifba, believe 2-player neo-geo emulator. once head around .cfg fine. config here:

/opt/retropie/emulators/pifba/fba2x.cfg or /opt/retropie/configs/fba/fba2x.cfg

should able access , edit file within file manger built retropie. or plug in keyboard , exit emulationstation , type:

sudo nano /opt/retropie/emulators/pifba/fba2x.cfg or /opt/retropie/configs/fba/fba2x.cfg

remember keyboard commands emulator in different format, example if fire 1 left alt, need know keycommand, 2 or 3 digit number. ah, have seen instructions if have edited on pc.
