Find/Replace with a Character Style

hello! i'm hoping can tweaking find/replace system. right now, document i'm working on has large number of e-mail addresses placed here , there throughout text. of e-mail addresses need italized. there anyway @ search "@" symbol , find/change apply character style entire word surrounding "@" symbol? i've been trying play wildcard settings, i'm not having luck.
any input appreciated.
