youtube-dl and omxplayer - Raspberry Pi Forums

i have been testing youtube-dl inside pi, of time downloads , gerenates playable movie file youtube-dl creates not playable omxplayer.

" vcodec id unknown: a8"
dont know omxplayer limitations in terms of codecs.
recipe youtube-dl download somethign playable?

try adding
start_x=1
/boot/config.txt
(needs reboot).

btw, omxplayergui (kweb suite) can watch videos without downloading them.
