installed ubuntu karmic koala (9.10) on dell p470
graphic card: nvicia model p231
performed: sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx-185
xorg-settings refuses until have new driver , running,
sudo nvidia-xconfig
whick makes me xorg.conf file.
after reboot, splash screen , ...
nothing flickering cursor on left top of screen.
booting in safe mode , deleting xorg.conf makes bootable again,
leaves me started, without nvidia driver loaded.
made no changes generated file

problem leaves me without dual monitor , worse,
without opengl support.
