hi, i've been doing java programming on ubuntu 9.10 using eclipse, , i'm having problem flaky sound. running program same code @ 1 time may or may not play sound. plays , few hours later doesn't, , it's same code. there may over-looking linux-wise causing problem?
read somewhere ubuntu may have problem playing sound multiple applications @ same time sound cards. might have i've noticed if stop firefox after playing sound in firefox, wait few seconds , run code works. if open firefox , play sound it, java program stops playing sound again.
there workaround other closing firefox every time want work on program?
code isn't important, since know should work , has worked, i'm using audioclip method of playing sound , calling simple clip.play() method.
