Editing Content - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

when try add new content or edit existing content when logged in administrator, click on save when have finished , logged out , page returns home page. nothing has been saved. same happens if log on user , try editing content of news item, nothing saved. whats happening?

check session path writeable in:

admin > system > system info > permissions

alternatively, try increasing admin session time in :

site > global configuration > server > admin session lifetime
