importing swf into in design - having problems

hi there guys, new here. trying import swf indesign , not having luck - after clicking 'place' , choosing test.swf

it says :

failed due quicktime error.

i installed newest version , tried again , same. tried mov file seemed work, although did message before play mov choose - trust content , on - happen every time ! i.e. new user downloads pdf , can not play video type content without reading through message , saying trust content!

i having same problem! have updated shockwave, flash & quicktime pro installations, yet indesign cs3 tells me "failed due quicktime error." each time try & place .swf file (which plays in flash cs3.)

i tried uninstalling & reinstalling shockwave, flash & quicktime, no difference. ideas, thoughts or suggestions? seems common problem.
