Thread: Alien Help

i installed alien synaptic (karmic) , alien gui somewhere else, can't tell whether or not gui or command line converting. have no idea destination of new (deb) pkg is. nor have idea on how specify. ive never used alien before , man pages ive found give me commands exe conversion. love down load deb cant find it. can help?

just run

sudo alien -d foo.rpm

that give foo.deb in same directory, can install in usual way.
